Frontier Airlines adds flights to Orlando from OKC Will Rogers International Airport
Frontier Airlines will begin nonstop flights from OKC Will Rogers International Airport (WRIA) to Orlando (MCO) on March 7. The airline will operate flights twice daily.
“This is great news for Oklahoma City,” Director of Airports Jeff Mulder said. “Orlando is a much sought-after destination. This will greatly enhance the air service options for our leisure and business travelers. We appreciate Frontier’s commitment to our community.”
In addition to the new Orlando service, Frontier is offering one-way flights from Oklahoma City to Denver, starting March 19, and to Las Vegas, starting April 16.
This announcement follows the airport's report of record passenger numbers in 2024. Several new routes contributed to the increase, including additional flights by United Airlines to Chicago and Houston. Southwest expanded service to Nashville, Orlando and Las Vegas, while American Airlines’ increased flights to Charlotte, Dallas and seasonal Miami routes.
WRIA is making strides in connecting Oklahoma City to the global market, with new routes like the nonstop service to Orlando. This growth reflects Oklahoma City’s broader development, as well as its ability to provide additional travel options for passengers.
