New Welcome Guide available
One of the best ways residents feel at ease in a new city is by knowing information about it. The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber makes that material easy to find every year in its annual Welcome Guide.
The 2020 Welcome Guide is now available and is packed with information for Oklahoma City’s newest residents. There are sections loaded with detail about the city’s history, neighborhoods, schools, climate and weather, the economy and, of course, what to do and where to go for fun.
The guide is an informative tool for companies and businesses to use when recruiting new talent to the city. Companies can work with the Chamber to have a page created in the guide with specific details about the opportunity to live, work and play in Oklahoma City.
The staff at Better Life HQ enjoys compiling the Welcome Guide every year because it’s a great way to reflect on the changes the city has seen. This year’s cover features Scissortail Park, which will soon celebrate its first anniversary of being open. The guide includes information about how Oklahoma City residents invested in themselves again by passing MAPS 4. There are also details about the city’s growing industries, such as aerospace, logistics and distribution, and biomedical.
