Shepherd Neighborhood has historic charm on a smaller scale – both in terms of square footage and budget. Before this area became a residential neighborhood, it was part of a 160-acre farm owned by the George Shepherd family. The neighborhood was plotted in 1931, and more than 300 homes were built in mostly brick-, stucco- or stone-styles of the 1930s. Its central location puts you in close distance to Oklahoma City University, downtown, the Paseo Arts District and many other nearby attractions.
