What has been your favorite thing about living in OKC?

I’ve been impressed by how affordable everything is – OKC enjoys a great cost of living. There’s easily available information on jobs and housing, especially when you look online. Homes and jobs are very accessible, too. Plus, everyone here has been very friendly and willing to help connect me with resources to help my family get settled in.

What has been the biggest surprise about OKC to you?

Coming from a smaller town, I’ve been pleased with how easy it is to get around OKC. Things are so convenient – for example, my local Walmart is less than 10 minutes away, and the nearest pool is only three minutes away from my house. My mom moved with me from Louisiana, too, and she has found public transportation really easy to navigate.

What would you say about someone thinking of moving to OKC?

I’ve only been living here a few months and am already recommending several family members move here! The availability of jobs and the good cost of living can’t be beat.
