What has been the biggest surprise about OKC to you?

The biggest surprise has been the overwhelming support and presence of local movements, nonprofits, philanthropy and service providers.

What is your favorite thing about living in OKC?

My favorite thing about OKC is that you can go from a ‘small town feeling’ of seeing the impact of your daily actions, to a ‘big city feeling’ where you are lost in a sprawling sea of fans at an NBA game.

What would you say to someone thinking about moving to OKC?

Oklahomans are proud, and rightfully so. Take the time to learn why and research OKC’s history from different perspectives. It took me too long to do that and I missed out on plenty of learning opportunities.
