When did you move to and/or back to Oklahoma City? Where did you come from?

I relocated to Oklahoma City last summer. Having grown up in a small town in northwestern Oklahoma, it is very nice to be back in my home state. It was fun living in Seattle, Chicago and Philadelphia during my twenties, but I’m very thankful to be closer to family now.

What has been the biggest surprise about OKC to you?

I’m shocked how many great new restaurants opened in the past few years and how much development has taken place in the downtown and midtown areas. The Myriad Gardens offer so many great cultural events and I can’t wait to explore the new Scissortail Park too.

What is your favorite thing about living in OKC?

My favorite thing about living in Oklahoma City is the people. The people are kind and welcoming.

What would you say to someone thinking about moving to OKC?

Oklahoma City is a great place to live since it combines all the amenities of a large city with a small town feel. The quick commute times, affordable cost of living and mild winters are nice additions, too.
