What has been the biggest surprise about OKC to you?

The people in Oklahoma City and the layout of the metro area are very similar to that of Des Moines, Iowa. I had no real adjustments to make when I moved here. I was probably most surprised by how many really great restaurants there are and the diverse choices available.

What is your favorite thing about living in OKC?

I enjoy working for MidFirst Bank. The people I work with are talented, salt-of-the-earth individuals. The friends I’ve made in Oklahoma City are genuine, and are generally, very good people. Oklahoma offers cultural diversity, the arts, a musical scene that fits my taste, and a vast array of cuisine choices.

What would you say to someone thinking about moving to OKC?

Oklahoma City is a great place to live and work.
