Software Engineer Tax Credit

Legislation to help Oklahoma recruit and retain software and cybersecurity talent was recently signed by Gov. Kevin Stitt. The legislation creates a tax credit up to $2,200 annually for qualifying software engineers who receive a degree from an accredited institution or $1,800 annually for qualifying employees who are awarded a certificate from a technology center. The tax credit can be claimed for seven years.
