Get ready to paint the town green as Oklahoma City gears up for a festive week of St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. From lively parades and Irish dancing to block parties and live music, there are plenty of ways to celebrate throughout the city.
Stockyards City St. Patrick’s Parade
Kick off the celebrations on Saturday, March 14, at the annual St. Patrick’s Parade in Stockyards City. A longtime Oklahoma City tradition, the parade brings together the community for a lively afternoon of music, color and Irish spirit.
The parade will be led by the Slash O Ranch Longhorns, followed by St. Patrick himself, marching bands, bagpipes, Irish dancers, the Shriners, classic cars, community groups and equestrian entries. It’s a family-friendly event that celebrates both Oklahoma heritage and Irish tradition.
The Oklahoma City Comets will host Fan Fest from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, March 14 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, giving fans a chance to visit the ballpark ahead of the upcoming season.
The free event will feature circus-themed activities, including stadium tours, baseball golf on the field, carnival games, live music and family-friendly activities. Guests can also enjoy St. Patrick’s Day-themed fun, concessions and opportunities to select seats for the 2026 season.
St. Patrick’s Weekend Celebrations
Looking for a festive pub atmosphere? McNellie's Pub in Midtown hosts its popular St. Patrick’s Weekend Block Party, featuring traditional Irish fare, live music and plenty of celebratory drinks.
Over in the West Village District, The Jones Assembly is bringing back its annual Paddy O’Party on March 14. The all-day celebration includes live music starting early in the morning along with themed food and drink specials to keep the festivities going throughout the day.
The festivities continue on Tuesday, March 17, with Sham-ROCK the Gardens, a St. Patrick’s Day celebration at the Myriad Botanical Gardens.
Guests can enjoy performances from the McTeggart Irish Dancers of Oklahoma, traditional Irish music from Flowers of Edinburgh and Raven’s Three, and the unmistakable sound of bagpipes from the Oklahoma Scottish Pipes and Drums. The family-friendly event brings music, dance and culture together in one of downtown’s most scenic spaces.
