Looking for something festive to do this week? Oklahoma City has plenty of holiday markets, neighborhood traditions and standout entertainment. Here’s what’s happening around town.
SPARKLE Holiday Market
Friday, December 5 | 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. | The Promenade, Upper Park
This outdoor holiday market brings together local vendors, handmade gifts, warm drinks and seasonal treats in a cheerful winter setting. It’s a great stop for holiday shopping or just enjoying the lights. SPARKLE markets will also be held on December 12 and December 19 if you want to make it a weekly tradition.
Cowboy Christmas Parade
Saturday, December 6 | 10 a.m. | Stockyards City
The annual Cowboy Christmas Parade kicks off with longhorns leading the way, followed by equestrian groups, marching bands, antique cars, community organizations, pageant royalty and Cowboy Santa. This year’s Grand Marshal is Oklahoma country artist and accomplished steer roper Pake McEntire, whose roots in rodeo and music run deep.
The parade runs from Pennsylvania and Exchange through the heart of Stockyards City. Afterward, stop by Rodeo Cinema for a photo with Cowboy Santa and explore the neighborhood’s shops and restaurants.
Holiday Pop-Up Shops
Friday to Sunday through December 21 | Midtown at 10th and Hudson
The Midtown Pop-Ups are back with a rotating lineup of local makers each weekend. You’ll find gifts, art, décor, seasonal treats and favorites like Katiebug’s Hot Chocolate, the Big Friendly Beer Bus and the Bishop John Carroll School tree lot. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Ali Wong: Work in Progress at Bricktown Comedy Club
December 2 and 3, 2025 | 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. shows | Bricktown Comedy Club
Ali Wong brings brand-new material to an intimate Bricktown stage, offering a rare chance to see a major comedian’s work in progress. Shows are 18+, seats are only guaranteed until showtime and there’s a two-item minimum. Tickets tend to go quickly for these sets, so planning ahead is smart.
