The Annual Stockyards Stampede is back with a lively celebration of Oklahoma City’s historic Stockyards District and its rich Western heritage.
The day kicks off at 10 a.m. with the majestic Slash O’ Ranch Longhorns parading down Exchange Avenue. Starting at the Oklahoma National Stockyards archway, the longhorns will journey through the district, rest at the National Saddlery Arena until 2 p.m., then return via Agnew Street—offering plenty of chances to see these iconic symbols of ranching tradition.
Visit the authentic Chuck Wagon Camp for cowboy cooking demonstrations and sample classic frontier dishes like stew, cornbread and cobbler starting at noon.
Live music fills the air at the Rodeo Cinema (2221 Exchange Avenue) with performances by:
- 10:30 a.m. — The Dalby’s
- 1:00 p.m. — Maddox Ross
- 2:00 p.m. — Cowboy Jim Garling
- 3:00 p.m. — Tanner Fields and his band
The Little Miss and Mr. Stockyards City Pageant will take place at Rodeo Cinema with registration from 10:45-11:45 a.m., followed by the pageant at noon.
Next to Little Joe’s Boots, the Made in Oklahoma Market showcases locally made goods with demonstrations and tastings throughout the day.
Families can enjoy the Kids Corral near the National Saddlery Arena, featuring pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, dummy roping and educational activities about Oklahoma’s agricultural heritage.
Don’t miss the Western Photo Booth near Shorty’s Cowboy Hattery for themed photo fun.
Beyond events, explore Stockyards City’s unique shops, restaurants and attractions for a full day of Western charm.
