There’s no better way to close out the summer and kick off fall than a visit to the Oklahoma State Fair. This isn’t just another event:it’s a full-blown celebration of everything we love about Oklahoma. From deep-fried favorites and big-name concerts to thrilling rides and livestock shows, the Fair brings 11 days of unforgettable fun for the whole family.
When & where
The Fair runs daily starting at 10 a.m., with entertainment, exhibits and vendors across the OKC Fairgrounds. Whether you’re here for the food, the carnival or just to people-watch with a turkey leg in hand—there’s a perfect day (or night) for you.
- Buildings: Sunday–Thursday: 10 a.m.–9 p.m. | Friday–Saturday: 10 a.m.–10 p.m.
- Outdoor Vendors: Open until 9:30/10:30 p.m.
- Carnival: Opens at 11 a.m. on weekends and Mondays; 1 p.m. on weekdays
Pro tip: Come early, stay late! Closing times vary, and you won’t want to miss golden hour at the Ferris wheel.

Important: Youth policy & parking
To keep the Fair fun and safe for everyone:
- Minors under 18 must be with an adult (25+) after 5 p.m.
- One adult can accompany up to 5 minors and must remain on-site. ID may be required.
Parking tips:
- Paid lots: $15/day (credit/debit only – no cash or mobile pay). Available at Gates 5, 6, 9, and 10.
- Free lots: Enter through Gates 1, 3, or 6. ADA parking is available at most entrances.
