From handmade candles to dumplings and dancing, Oklahoma City's fall market season is packed with shopping, live music and plenty to eat.
Here are a few of the can't-miss markets bringing fun to the city in the coming months:
Scissortail Night Market
Sept. 5, Oct. 3, Nov. 21
5:30 to 10 p.m.
Held along the Promenade at Scissortail Park, the Scissortail Night Market draws thousands for local shopping and laid-back fun. Visitors can browse dozens of vendors offering jewelry, plants, gifts, home décor and more—all from Oklahoma small businesses and makers.
Live music takes over the Love’s Travel Stops Stage, and you’ll find food trucks parked throughout the event selling everything from snacks to full meals and sweet treats. The market also features performers, movies and other entertainment to keep the vibe going.
Wheeler District Markets
Fridays, July 11 to Oct. 24
6 to 9 p.m.
Every Friday evening through October, the Wheeler District turns into a lively mix of farmers market staples and night market energy. Shop for produce, pick up handcrafted goods and grab dinner from a local food truck—all while enjoying live music under the Ferris wheel lights.
It’s a relaxing way to support local vendors and ease into the weekend.
Asian Night Market Festival
Oct. 3–4
One of Oklahoma’s most popular cultural festivals returns this fall with two nights of nonstop action. Hosted by the Asian District Cultural Association, the Asian Night Market Festival features food vendors, cultural performances, fashion shows and a food eating contest.
The festival celebrates the rich traditions and growing influence of Oklahoma’s Asian community with sights, sounds and smells that turn the neighborhood into a block party.
All markets are free to attend and open to all ages. Bring friends, grab dinner, support local vendors and enjoy the cooler weather.
