Whether your pup is your weekend sidekick or the main character of your social life, OKC has plenty of places where dogs are more than welcome. From off‑leash parks to cozy patios and pup-first bars, here are the top spots to explore together: 

The Pump Bar (Midtown) 

Dogs are welcome on the patio, with water bowls and chill vibes, a great place to relax and make a two‑ or four‑legged friend. 

Scissortail Dog Park (Downtown) 

In the northwest corner of Scissortail Park, this fenced, off‑leash space features separate areas for big and small dogs, plenty of shade and water stations. (Note: pups cannot enter human splash pads or the lake.) 

Bar K (Lower Riversport) 

A well-known dog bar featuring spacious indoor/outdoor off‑leash parks, full-service bar/restaurant and events like “Singo.” “Dog Tenders” supervise the space. Membership or a guest pass gives you access to a two-acre dog haven and dog-friendly menu items and drinks. 

Solo’s Park & Pub (Quail Springs) 

Oklahoma’s first bar–restaurant–off‑leash dog park combo. Two separate dog parks (large and small), indoor humans-only dining room and an on‑leash patio. “Bark Rangers” supervise the space. Solo’s offers memberships, daycare and hourly drop-in, plus a doggie menu and full bar and food options for you. 

Stonecloud Brewing Co. (Downtown) 

A spacious patio welcomes you and your leashed pup, great for craft beers, cozy vibes and easy socializing. 

Plant People (Paseo) 

Bring your pup on a leash to wander around this bright, plant-filled shop. Lovely spot for photos and a relaxing stroll. 

More local stroll spots (leashed): 

• Wheeler District – paved loops, food pop-ups and a doggy-friendly vibe 

• Parlor OKC – upstairs patio that’s chill and pet-friendly 

• Lake Hefner Trails – wide, scenic paths great for lakeside walks 

Puppy tips before you head out 

1. Bring your own water bowl and snacks. 

1. Keep them leashed, unless in a designated off‑leash area. 

1. Clean up after them, everywhere! 

1. Check memberships/events, Solo’s and Bar K often require day passes or memberships after hours.
