One of the staples of fall in Oklahoma City is Pumpkinville at the Myriad Botanical Gardens and this weekend is the last chance to experience the family fun for yourself this year.
Pumpkinville, one of the Garden’s biggest annual festivals, features more than 30,000 pumpkins, haystacks, gourds and more. Visitors can enjoy games, pumpkin painting, local vendors, face painting and rides on Mo’s Carousel.
This year Pumpkinville is bringing mythical creatures to life around the gardens. Giants, Ogres, and Trolls dominate the landscape, while Bigfoot and the elusive Yeti wander the forests. Gnomes, Fairies, Pixies, and Sprites add a sprinkle of magic, with Unicorns, Goblins, and Dragons embodying the essence of fantasy. The skies are graced by Pegasus and the reborn Phoenix, while Gargoyles, the Loch Ness Monster, and the Kraken stir the imagination. Finally, Mermaids beckon from the sea, completing this enchanting world.
Pumpkinville is open through Sunday, October 20 and admission is just $9. The event is free for ages two and under and Myriad Garden members.
