The Innovation District is the city’s central hub of innovation. The district is a communal meeting place for professionals to merge, grow and interact. As Oklahoma City expands, the Innovation District looks to intensify the momentum and elevate our city as a regional force for technology and entrepreneurship.

Tech Talk
Hear from local startups and thought-provoking leaders. Tech Talk welcomes expert panelists as they discuss and share advancements in technology to create a better future. On May 23, General Genomics will talk about machine learning and artificial intelligence as it pertains to health risk modeling. The event will be held at the OSU Harold Hamm Institute for American Energy Building. Registration for the event is free and lunch is provided.

OKCID Workshop Series
Want to kickstart a business and develop your ideas? The OKCID Workshop Series is a free networking event that allows innovators alike to share, model and critique work. The next Workshop Series is June 8 at the OSU Harold Hamm Institute and is also free to attend.

Cocktails & Collaboration
A fun way to connect with contemporaries is with drinks and conversations. Cocktails & Collaboration is a monthly happy hour event that takes place at different venues across the district. Stay informed of event times and locations as the first 50 people in attendance will receive a free drink (compliments of the Innovation District)!

OKCID Get Funded Series
The Get Funded Series is a crossover installment of OKCID’s Tech Talk and Workshop Series. Listen to industry subject matter experts in an open forum setting from 3:30 to 5 p.m. June 29.

Workday with Restore OKC
The Oklahoma City Innovation District’s annual collaboration with Restore OKC is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sept. 9. The purpose of this event is to meet for a day of service in northeast Oklahoma City. Members of the Innovation District and past volunteers are encouraged to gather and unite on this day to take part in a greater good. Want to volunteer? Be one with the community and sign up today.
InnoTech 2023 Conference
The 15th annual, InnoTech 2023 Conference is set for Wednesday, Oct. 18, at the Oklahoma City Convention Center. Presented by Interworks, InnoTech Oklahoma is the region’s largest business and technology conference and expo — providing innovation, learning and networking opportunities.
Kick-Off Event for 2023 Global Entrepreneurship Week
Join the Innovation District to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 13,at the OSU Harold Hamm Institute for American Energy Building. Hear from field experts across the region while accessing valuable resources and information from networking partners to help build your start-up.
Walk Over Wednesday Series
Due to construction of the new Convergence Hall, the Innovation District will resume the Walk Over Wednesday Series in 2024.
