Did you know the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber puts on around 70 events each year? Chamber events aim to inform people about crucial topics facing our community and allow for important networking time. Best of all, most events are open to members and nonmembers alike (although being a member can save you a little on your tickets).
While the calendar inches closer to 2023, that doesn’t mean the events are slowing down as the Chamber will put on two major events next month.
On Dec. 2, the State of the Aerospace Industry will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Petroleum Club. This event is designed to help deepen attendees’ understanding of the critical role the aerospace industry plays in our local economy.
This year’s featured speakers will be Dennis D’Angelo, executive director of the Air Force Sustainment Center, and Andre McMillian, vice president of sustainment operation and military engines for Pratt & Whitney.
The Chamber will also hold its Annual Meeting on Dec. 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. This year’s speaker is Anthony Nicolaidis, Dallas market president for Live Nation Entertainment, who will sit down with Chamber Chair Sean Trauschke for a fireside chat about OKC’s rise as a music industry destination. They will also discuss what is next in the entertainment industry and how OKC can continue to leverage assets to increase the demand from big-name artists and productions.
If Oklahoma City is your new hometown or you are a long-time resident who wants to get a little more involved, Chamber events are a great first step.
