A follow up to the nation’s most widely known shopping holiday, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday encourages the economic empowerment of local retailers. Held this year on Nov. 26, the annual attraction brings business to smaller stores that may be overlooked by larger corporations during the holiday shopping season, while providing a boost to local economies. Check out some of the best places in Oklahoma City to visit during this year’s Small Business Saturday below.
OKC Outlets – A provider of local and international brands, OKC Outlets is the perfect place for those looking to make the most of their weekend shopping. On Nov. 26, the outlet mall is offering visitors a food voucher when they show same-day receipts from its participating local retailers. Local shops at the outlet range in variety, from books and shoes to antiques, accessories and more.
Plaza District – Centrally located, Oklahoma City’s Plaza District is a year-round destination to shop locally. Home to boutiques like Grinmore, Out on a Limb, Bad Granny’s Bazaar, DNA Galleries and more, the district is ideal for those looking to grab gifts with an artistic flair.
