With new business investments and reinvestments from current tenants, Midtown OKC is experiencing incredible growth. You can eat, play and shop without leaving this welcoming community. There are also great living options that will keep everything this district has to offer right at your fingertips.
For the food lovers, there are so many delicious, locally owned options to choose from. Whether you’re looking for Italian, French, Latin or American, there are all these choices plus even more. If you’re travelling with a group, The Collective Kitchen + Cocktails or City Garden would satisfy everyone’s tastebuds. And you can’t forget the sweet side of life. Those with a sweet tooth have plenty of delectable options including Brown’s Bakery, Capitals Ice Cream and Insomnia Cookies.
After dinner, you can show off your athletic skills bowling a few frames at Dust Bowl Lanes and Lounge or get your adrenaline pumping attempting to escape from Baker Street Escapes.
Many of the restaurants in Midtown are dog friendly so after a great bite of food, you and your pup can meet new friends at the Midtown Mutts Dog Park.
If shopping piques your interest, you can shop until you drop with the latest fashions at Mode, Nhu Avenue, and The Black Scintilla, or design custom stationary at Chirps and Cheers. Commonplace Books is the perfect place to get your next page-turner and Twinkle Apothecary offers handmade, vegan beauty products. Sneakerheads can also find their next pair of shoes at The Laboratory.
Midtown also hosts great events throughout the year. This summer, every third Wednesday you can visit participating restaurants for Midtown Cool Down and enjoy featured specialty drinks that will be over-the-top, tropical or fruit-forward. The next Cool Down is Wednesday, June 15. At the end of the month, you can shop at the Make Ready Market on June 25. The monthly outdoor shopping event promotes and supports local makers and features clothing, jewelry, art and pottery with live music and food trucks.
