You have heard us say it plenty, but attending events through the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber is an amazing way to better learn about Oklahoma City and get connected in the community. Most Chamber events are open to members and nonmembers alike, but you will save a little dough if your company is a member. April is an especially important month with Elevate taking place.
Elevate is the Chamber’s annual professional development event and is designed to help you take control of your career and get to the next level. This year’s Elevate will be held on April 14 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Oklahoma City Convention Center. Elevate features motivational speakers, curated breakout sessions and networking opportunities throughout the day, and allows you to get the best professional development opportunities without leaving town for an expensive, multi-day conference. Single tickets and packages are available now for purchase here.
This month’s Chamber Forum will be about Onward OKC, a groundbreaking compact between Oklahoma City’s CareerTech institutions. It will be held on April 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Vast. Onward OKC is all about making it easy for businesses to create a prepared workforce by leveraging the combined resources of the five technology center districts in our community. The forum will feature a panel discussion from various CareerTech leaders involved in the compact.
