With over 620 square miles, you probably know that from a size perspective Oklahoma City is one of the largest cities in the U.S. While the City of Oklahoma City does an amazing job of filling potholes, cleaning graffiti and fixing other code violations, there is a lot of ground to cover in Oklahoma City so they can’t catch everything.
The good news is, as a civic-minded citizen, you can help the city staff by reporting code violations to the OKC Action Center. The Action Center is where you can ask questions or report non-emergency code violations, such as high weeds, abandoned vehicles or other neighborhood problems.
How do you submit a question or concern? Basically, whatever is easiest for you. There are multiple ways to submit concerns, like emailing [email protected], calling the Action Center line 405-297-2535, texting 405-252-1053, connecting via Twitter at @okcaction, submitting through the City’s web portal or by using the OKC Connect app for Android and Apple devices. Be sure to include the address or closest intersection, and feel free to include photos.
Oklahoma City residents always score their hometown high in the annual resident satisfaction survey and the metro routinely garners accolades for best-run cities. No small part of that success is due to citizens’ involvement in helping identify areas that need improvement from city staff.
