Scissortail Park’s popular Night Market event returns Friday, Oct. 15 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. The Night Market features 50 local vendors and is a great place to find one-of-kind items you can’t get anywhere else (don’t forget Christmas is sneaking up on us).
You can find everything from art, candles, jewelry, antiques, items for your home and much, much more. And just to add to the fun, food trucks and bar service will be available. Also, the Night Market is outdoors which provides ample space for social distancing.
While we are on the subject of Scissortail Park, don’t forget to check out their events calendar because there is always something fun going on. We suggest you check out the Treat Trail on Oct. 30 for a little Halloween fun for the whole family.
But you don’t need a special event to check out Scissortail Park. It is a great place to talk a walk, enjoy a calm lunch break (The Perch recently opened) or take the kids to the playground.
If you’ve been to Scissortail Park recently, you have probably noticed construction on the lower 30-acres is progressing rapidly. The lower park is expecting to be complete by the end of the year. You can get updates on the progress via the City’s website.
