Oklahoma City’s craft beer scene is one that is constantly growing, with options that are sure to please every palate. If you are ready to find your next favorite brew, look no further than COOP Ale Works, a staple in the Oklahoma City brewery community. While their taproom is still closed due to COVID-19, their beers are on tap at restaurants and bars throughout the metro area (use the beer locator map on their website to track down the location nearest you). Their core lineup of beers produced year-round includes the popular F5 IPA and the Belgian dark ale DNR, and many of these are also available in cans at local grocery stores for your next lake trip or round of golf.
If a brewery tour is more your style, start with the path outlined on VeloCityOKC.com’s Brewery Taproom Crawl along the OKC Streetcar route. The streetcar loop places you near Elk Valley, Prairie Artisan Ales, Twisted Spike and Vanessa House, and nearby breweries Anthem Brewing Company, Lively Beerworks, Angry Scotsman, Fair Weather Friend and Stonecloud Brewing Company are all a quick Spokies ride away from downtown (please, bike responsibly).
