There are few better ways to get connected and “in-the-know” when it comes to the movers and shakers and what is moving and shaking in OKC than Greater OKC Chamber events. Before in-person events return in general in August, July has a couple of opportunities you may want to take advantage of – including an in-person event!
July 21st’s Chamber Forum event will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Vast atop Devon Tower, and will feature Lt. Gen. Donald E. “Gene” Kirkland, commander of the Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker Air Force Base (as well as lunch, at a table, with other people! We know!). Tinker is such an important part of our community and this event will provide updates on some of the exciting news from the base, of which there has been quite a bit lately. Get more info at okcchamber.com.
July 27th’s Chamber Connection event will start at 1 p.m. and will highlight some of the important work of the Chamber in addition to great networking with new Chamber members, people new to Chamber member companies, or even folks that are just thinking about joining the Chamber. Learn about the organization’s economic development efforts, government relations activities, community improvement programs and involvement opportunities, and more. Registration is free and the event will be held virtually. Get more info at okcchamber.com.
