It’s safe to say that live music and performances have been sorely missed over the past year. Never fear -- several OKC venues and hot spots are slowly and safely rolling out the music.
At the Civic Center Music Hall, the OKC PHIL is featuring The Music of Queen, April 2 and 3. This Windborne Music production celebrates the iconic groups’ albums including Classic Queen, Sheer Heart Attack and the seminal A Night at the Opera. If classical is more your speed, catch Only Tchaikovsky on April 10. In-person performances are 60 minutes and socially distanced.
Live music is back at the Belle Isle Restaurant & Brewery on Saturday nights with a variety of OKC bands. The upstairs performance area, now open to all ages, is reduced capacity and social distanced so advance tickets are required.
Music First is The Jones Assembly’s free weeknight live music series each Tuesday-Friday. Local favorites perform 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the heated and enclosed patio.
