The much anticipated First Americans Museum has announced its public opening, Sept. 18 and 19.
A variety of events and activities are planned throughout the two days including demonstrations, dancers, a procession of all 39 tribes and much more. Hours will be 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. both days.
First Americans Museum celebrates the shared American history through the lens and collective stories of 39 distinct tribal nations in Oklahoma today.
“It’s a world class facility and everyone who comes will understand the care that has been taken to share the story with the world,” said Ginny Underwood, marketing and communications manager.
