Even in the best of places, things are not always 100% peachy-keen. Are there eyesores in your neighborhood like graffiti? An inoperable vehicle? High grass and weeds? Other potentially dangerous situations? The Action Center is your one-stop for concerns about all things in and around your neighborhood.
So how does it work? There are multiple ways to submit concerns, like emailing [email protected], calling the Action Center line 405-297-2535, texting 405-252-1053, connecting via Twitter at @okcaction, submitting through the City’s webportal or by using the OKC Connect app for Android and Apple devices. Be sure to include the address or closest intersection, and feel free to include photos! Once a potential violation is reported, a city inspector assesses the complaint while keeping your report completely confidential. A notice may be issued allowing time to correct the issue, other times a legal notice or citation is issued. A complete list of common code violations is available here.
The Action Center is also ready to hear from residents regarding the dreaded potholes that came from the recent winter storm. Visit okc.gov/action or email [email protected]. Be sure to include an accurate address or closest intersection.
