Looking for a way to celebrate Valentine’s Day? Some of Oklahoma City’s favorite destinations have planned fun and creative events for you and your valentine.
Succulents are all the rage and you can create your own Valentine-themed succulent wreath at the Will Rogers Gardens, 9 to 10:30 a.m., Sat., Feb. 13. All ages are welcome and materials are provided. Pre-registration is required.
Through February 14, show your Heart for Art at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Pick up a heart at Visitor Services, leave it by your selection, and share on social media using #MyWest and #HeartsForArt. While visiting, pick up the “Find the Love” guide, a selection of art from the Museum’s collection that speaks of love.
Just for teens, the Metropolitan Library System is offering a New Sew Heart Pillow take-home kit. Through Feb. 14, grab a take-home kit with all the supplies to create a cozy valentine. Kits are available while supplies last, pick-up is via curbside service.
