Network virtually at February Chamber events

From the continued impact of COVID-19 on businesses to creating a diversity, equity and inclusion program, February’s virtual Chamber events will give attendees an opportunity learn and network.

Enlighten, Feb. 5, noon
The 2021 Enlighten series kicks off with an update on COVID-19 and its continued impact on the business community, the vaccine roll-out and legal concerns for employers. Featured speakers include
Dr. Douglas Drevets, Chief of Infectious Disease, OU Health;
Dr. Patrick McGough, Executive Director, Oklahoma City - County Health Dept. / OCCHD and Kristin Simpsen, Labor and Employment Attorney,
McAfee & Taft.

Enlighten virtual events are free and available to both Chamber members and non-members.

Chamber Forum, Feb. 17, 11:45 a.m.
The monthly Chamber Forum helps you stay in the know about all things Oklahoma City.  The series brings together thought leaders to discuss major initiatives, programs and current issues that impact Oklahoma City's economy and community. February speakers TBA.

Creating a Culture of Inclusion, Feb. 23, 3:30 p.m.
Creating a Culture of Inclusion is a new monthly series created in partnership with The Urban League of Greater Oklahoma City Inc. and the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber. The series was designed to help create stronger dialogue and engagement among the Oklahoma City business community around issues of social justice and anti-racism.

February’s topic is Implementing a DEI Program with featured speaker Charlene Thomas, Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at UPS.

MegaLunch, Feb. 24, 11:30 a.m.
The best place to build your network?  MegaLunch! This virtual, online speed networking event gives you 90 seconds to pitch your products or services to other professionals. Using Zoom breakout rooms and a computerized rotation schedule, you will meet many new prospects and be an expert at promoting your company during five rotations. Video and audio are required for this experience.

Due to the unique format of this event, only one person per member company can attend. MegaLunch is exclusive to Chamber members only.

Chairman’s Event, Feb. 25, Noon
The February Chairman’s event features Governor Kevin Stitt. Gov. Stitt will share his priorities for the 2021 legislative session and discuss the ongoing challenges presented by COVID-19.
