Coffee table book features rescue dogs

Need the perfect gift for the dog lover on your list?  SLURP will guarantee to make their holiday happy and bright.

The Oklahoma Humane Society recently published SLURP, its first-ever coffee table book featuring portraits of rescue dogs slurping their favorite treats. The book features nearly 100 pages of pup photos along with inspirational stories from clients of the society’s Animal Advocacy Program. The program was created in conjunction with Palomar Family Justice Center to assist human and animal victims of domestic violence.

Books are $40 and 100% of the proceeds benefit the Animal Advocacy Program.

Looking to add a furry family member? Adoption is available at the Oklahoma City Animal Shelter and the Oklahoma Humane Society. And don’t forget when you’re out and about with your four-legged friend—dogs must have a rabies tag and be on a leash at all times.
