As we may have mentioned previously, all Chamber events through September have been moved to a virtual format. If you’re new to town and trying to get out and meet new people and business contacts, you may think this really puts a damper on your networking activities. But fear not! The event planning folks here at the Chamber have figured out ways for virtual attendees to network even while events are being held online, via randomly assigned smaller breakout rooms for you to make connections and chat before the main events begin. With that, here’s some info about some virtual events you may be interested in attending:
State of Health, July 13 at 11:30 a.m. - Noted health care and finance filmmaker and researcher Ron Galloway will deliver a keynote address on how innovation and technology might light the way forward in a post-pandemic health care industry society. In addition, panel discussions featuring metro health care leaders will give updates on local hospitals and our community’s response to COVID-19, as well as what we might expect in the fall.
Member Orientation, July 14 at 9 a.m. – Learn more about the Chamber’s initiatives and programming while meeting other members. Member Orientation is great for new employees of Chamber member companies, Chamber members who are looking to get more involved in the business of making OKC great, or even people thinking of joining the Chamber.
Chamber Forum, July 15 at 11:45 a.m. - At the July Chamber Forum, learn about the projects shaping Oklahoma City's skyline, including information about First National Center, BancFirst Tower, the recent purchase of SandRidge Energy's headquarters and more. Small group networking will commence before the programming.
MegaLunch Abbreviated, July 23 at 11:30 a.m. – This fan-favorite networking event is still happening through the magic of Zoom, even though no lunch is involved!
