Since you’re an avid reader of this e-mail, you’re well aware that the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber hosts dozens of events a year. Some of our regular events are on a monthly schedule, such as our Forum luncheon. At Forum, you get to hear about community-related topics, such as the MAPS 4 projects or what tourism means to the economy.
Starting this month, Forum will happen virtually, but the good news is you’ll be able to get the same quality of programming at a discounted rate. (Sorry, we couldn’t get that Vast lunch sent to everyone’s homes) Join the Chamber at 11:30 a.m. on June 17 and hear from companies about why they choose to grow in Oklahoma City and what our community can do to better support a vibrant business climate. Tickets for Chamber members are only $15. While you’ll miss the yummy Vast dessert, you can still gain valuable information about the area.
Also this month, get up a little early to virtually attend Rise & Shine, a members-only networking event set for June 25 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. During the event, you’ll hear from Lee Copeland, manager of talent and business growth for the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber. He’ll give a presentation entitled "Stop Leading for Change," an insightful look at how our efforts in leading for "change" will inevitably continue to result in the same outcomes and how to think differently about what it means to be a transformative leader. After the event, you’ll get a list of everyone who attended so you can make more connections.
