Social distancing is the best choice you can make right now for yourself, your family and our community at large, but that doesn’t mean it needs to be boring! Oklahoma City attractions and venues are temporarily closed due to COVID-19, but many are providing a chance to experience their facilities virtually. H/t to the Oklahoma City Convention and Visitors Bureau for compiling the list below. Be sure to check out their lists of local restaurants and stores you can support during this time!
Oklahoma City Zoo
You can take a live virtual safari daily at 2 p.m. to keep up with our zoo animals and the humans that care for them! Tune in to OKC Zoo @ Two for caretaker chats, wellness exams, behind-the-scenes animal encounters and unexpected adventures.
National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum
Follow Tim, head of security turned social media extraordinaire, as he gives behind-the-scenes (and hilarious) updates from the museum's galleries and archives. You can even take a virtual visit through some of the museum's online exhibits!

American Banjo Museum
Did you know one of the largest collections of banjos IN THE WORLD resides in Oklahoma City? Until you can see it in person, let the American Banjo Museum be your guide to the banjo's rich history and unlimited future with virtual tours and concerts daily at noon! (P.S. They're also accepting song requests on Facebook.)
Each Friday and Saturday night from 6 to 7:30 p.m., tune in to Factory Obscura for its LIVE at Mix-Tape series, a free livestream of two local acts performing inside the Mix-Tape Experience.
Exhibit C Native Gallery & Gifts
The standard right now is social distancing, but nobody said anything about art distancing. Check out Exhibit C's latest exhibit, Home on the Range, and let them know if you see a piece of art you'd like to purchase!
