Last week, we highlighted all the live music being offered in the city. But the city’s arts scene is bigger than concerts. It includes opera, ballet and Broadway musicals, including traveling shows and local performers.
Many of those shows are performed at the city’s historic Civic Center Music Hall. The venue in downtown Oklahoma City is home to five troupes, while it is also the site for world-class events such as Shen Yun or the Oklahoma City Philharmonic Orchestra.
Between now and April, we’re sure there’s something to catch your attention so you can have a night or afternoon out in OKC. For some events, you’ll have to travel to the Plaza District or the Hudiburg Chevrolet Center in Midwest City. Our friends at Oklahoma City Community College also have theatrical and musical performances.
So check out this schedule and support these venues and your artistically-inclined neighbors.
