Now that you’ve finally dumped your rotting pumpkins and hung your Christmas lights, it’s time to go get another sign of the season: a Christmas tree. If you’re a fan of a live tree, there are plenty of options to get one in metro, whether you live closer to Guthrie or in Norman. Once the holiday is over, Oklahoma City residents can put your trees at the curb during bulk trash pick-up days.
Whatever you do, don’t take off Clark-Griswold style and head into the wilderness to get a tree. While Oklahoma City residents are friendly folks, there’s a chance you’ll cross onto somebody’s property line and we’re not responsible for what happens after that.
