If you’ve been paying any attention at all to the Greater OKC Chamber’s social media accounts lately and/or been reading VeloCityOKC.com regularly (as you should), you probably have heard a little something about Elevate, OKC’s newest, biggest and best professional development conference. Heck, you may have even been served an awesome digital ad or two (you’re welcome).
But now it’s finally here! Elevate is this Wednesday, Oct. 23. Starting at 7:30 a.m., you’ll enjoy a full day of professional development including three keynote addresses and more than 48 different breakout sessions to choose from according to your career needs and desires. Hear from luminaries such as NYT best-selling author David Epstein, Walter Nusbaum and Oklahoma City’s own Amy Downs and choose from educational sessions designed to help your career--whether you’re a new manager, a salesperson, a small business owner, an entrepreneur, or if you need accounting or legal continuing ed or you just want to elevate your own day-to-day employee experience.
And the professional development fun doesn’t stop after the final breakout session ends. From 5 to 7 p.m., attendees will be able to enjoy brews and bites from OKC’s best restaurants and breweries, while networking with fellow attendees and learning about new products and services at the Elevate After-Party and Exhibitor Experience!
We know what you’re thinking: My oh my, with all this professional development goodness, it can’t be cheap. What’ll it cost, man, what’ll it cost?!? But there’s good news! An all-day pass to Elevate is $350 and you’ll get to sleep in your own bed. You can register when you walk in the door of the Cox Convention Center on Wednesday. Your all-day pass includes the morning and lunch keynote sessions, a continental breakfast and lunch, your choice of six breakout sessions and admission/one drink ticket to the Elevate After-Party.
But if it’s too late to tell your boss you’ll be gone all day, come for the after-party, where a ticket’s only $30 max. The party starts at 5 p.m., so plan to grab your colleagues and head downtown.
Get a better view of your professional life and future with Elevate!
