We know we can be a bit of a broken record on this subject, but the live music scene in Oklahoma City has really exploded the last couple of years. From arena headliners to the best singer/songwriters, you can find something to fit your taste every week in OKC. Below are some highlights of the next month. Of course this is far from an exhaustive list. Let us know what shows you are excited for in the comments.
- Carrie Underwood- Sept. 25 at the Chesapeake Energy Arena; The Oklahoma native and seven-time Grammy-award winner returns to her home state with the Cry Pretty Tour 360.
- Hayes Carll- Sept. 26 at the Tower Theatre; The Texan is a favorite among fans of Americana.
- Chris Stapleton- Oct. 4 at the Chesapeake Energy Arena; Stapleton’s All-American Road Show has been selling out arenas all over the country this summer. We are guessing OKC will be no different.
- Meg Thee Stallion- Oct. 11 at the Criterion; This will be the Houston rapper’s first time headlining a show in OKC.
- The Raconteurs- Oct. 12 at the Criterion; The rock band featuring Jack White recently released their first new album in more than 10 years to rave reviews.
- X-Ambassadors- Oct. 13 at the Jones Assembly; The rock band is touring in support of their upcoming album Orion.
