We’re pretty fond of art here in OKC, and nowhere is that more apparent than the Paseo Arts District. For the less initiated, it’s a district loaded with local artists, galleries, food and more. Locals know that there’s never a wrong time to visit Paseo, but the best times are First Fridays and their annual Arts Festival. Like the name implies, First Fridays happen on the first Friday of every month throughout the year. It’s an especially lively time to see galleries and sample some of the great food in the district! And the festival is when everything comes together—the galleries, local musicians, performers, artisans of all kinds—and delivers the ultimate summer experience.
