The 2018 Oklahoma Regatta Festival will take place Sept. 28 - 30 in the Boathouse District. This amazing three-day competition includes rowing, dragon boating, kayaking, white water rafting and family fun.
The weekend will also feature the Oklahoma City University Head of the Oklahoma race, OGE NightSprints, and food trucks and beer gardens. The races features teams from all over the nation competing on all levels of competition--collegiate, masters and junior rowing.
During the festival the 500-meter NightSprints are held when the sun sets. This creates a unique and intense atmosphere for everyone involved from spectators to competitors. Everyone is invited to bring something to sit on or someone to sit with, or both of course, and cheer the athletes on.
