Oklahoma’s connection to the days of wagon trains and cattle drives is undeniable and there’s no better place to relive that part of Oklahoma’s past than the annual Chuck Wagon Festival at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. From May 26-27, you can experience a fun-filled weekend of chuck wagon food samples, a petting zoo, artisan demonstrations, live music, Western Reenactors, square dancing and more.
Each day of the festival, you can also enter your child for a chance to become the Sheriff for the Day. One lucky winner will patrol the event as sheriff with their own cowboy hat, badge and stick horse. So giddy up, partner. This event is not to be missed!
