With the opening of several new venues in Oklahoma City, there has never been more live music options in the metro. Just about any night of the week you can find an exciting performance at a top-notch venue. Here is a quick preview of some the concerts going down in May. - Ben Folds- May 1 at the Civic Center Music Hall: A special treat as Ben Folds will play with the OKC Philharmonic.
- Primus/Mastadon- May 8 at the Criterion: Get your metal fix as Primus and Mastadon rock the Criterion.
- Spoon- May 17 at the Jones Assembly: Indie stalwarts Spoon will be taking over the Jones Assembly for a can’t-miss show.
- Toadies- May 19 at the Diamond Ballroom: The 90s will never die as the Toadies come to town.
- James Taylor with special guest Bonnie Raitt- May 25 at the Chesapeake Energy Arena: Just your run-of-the-mill concert featuring a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member with 15 Grammy wins.
- American Aquarium- May 25 at the Tower Theatre: Favorites among the Oklahoma/Texas touring scene, American Aquarium shows rarely disappoint.
