As we talked about a while back, the opening of several new music venues in Oklahoma City has led to a surge in live music in OKC. No matter what kind of music you like, there has never been a better time to be a music fan living in the 4-0-5. If you haven’t checked out any live music lately, what are you waiting for? December is a great month to get started. Lady Gaga and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra are making stops at the Chesapeake Energy Arena. John Moreland and Steve Earle hit the Tower Theatre. If you like your rock a little harder check out some of the acts coming to the Diamond Ballroom this month. We’ve been noticing tickets at a lot of venues seem to be going pretty quickly. If you are poking around looking for a show in December, you might as well look ahead to 2018 while you are at it. You wouldn’t want to miss out on your favorite artist coming through.
