Craft beer explosion

With so much brewing in the OKC, it’s kind of hard not having a beer jubil-double-E every now and then. Fall for your favorite fermentables at taprooms and restaurants all over town. Like to get your craft beer straight from the brewer’s fermenter? Some of our favorite spots include Anthem Brewing Company, COOP Ale Works, Elk Valley/Mustang, Roughtail and Twisted Spike. Want food while you imbibe (pro tip: usually not a bad idea.)? Restaurants like Bricktown Brewery and Belle Isle Brewery brew their own awesome stuff on-site, and many of our local establishments pride themselves on their local craft beer selection, like McNellie’s, Urban Johnnie, Republic Gastropub and more. Due in part to OKCitians’ thirst as well as a recent change in Oklahoma law, even more brewery taprooms have been announced. There’s certainly no dearth of excellent craft beer in Oklahoma City, so get out there and enjoy (responsibly)!
