As the grass begins to green and air starts to warm, that means one thing for a lot of people …baseball. The start of the 2017 is right around the corner for the Oklahoma City Dodgers.
The Dodgers, the AAA affiliate for the legendary Los Angeles Dodgers, are stacked with talent and have been one of the most successful teams in minor league baseball the past two seasons. They are back-to-back divisional champions and last season they won the conference title.
AAA baseball is a great way to enjoy spring in Oklahoma with family or friends while seeing some of the future stars of baseball. Recent All-Stars including Nelson Cruz, Chris Davis, R.A. Dickey, Adrian Gonzalez, Ian Kinsler and Carl Crawford are just a few to have spent time in OKC. Even Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg spent a couple of seasons in the metro.
The first home game of the 2017 season will be April 6 against the Iowa Cubs. So check the schedule, buy your tickets and we will see you at the fabulous Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. We’ll be the ones enjoying the world famous Dodger Dogs.
