The Plaza District, located along NW 16 between Classen Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue, is a perfect example of the development that has happened in Oklahoma City the last couple of decades. Local retailers helped breathe new life into an aging retail corridor that many thought was beyond repair. The best way to experience it is the monthly Live! On the Plaza. Held the second Friday of each month, the businesses stay open late to feature live music, artists, shopping and more starting at 7 p.m. The event is jam-packed with people, free and family friendly.
