Before putting on your dancing shoes, kick off the evening (or that 2017 resolution) a little early with Opening Night 5k. Just think, you can squeeze in one last run in 2016 and make a big difference in our arts community at the same time.
The run starts at 4 p.m. just east of Bicentennial Park downtown (where the Opening Night Finale takes place). This isn’t your normal race though. Don your best costume of neon and glitter or dig out your superhero cape because the most festively dressed wins an original piece of art. The best part? Every participant gets an Opening Night wristband. That is what we in the fun business call a win-win.
