If you’ve been hearing shouts of “¡Thunder Arriba!” then you may already know that our hoops squad officially began their preseason campaign yesterday across the Atlantic on the Iberian Peninsula, taking on Real Madrid on their home court at the Barclaycard Center in the Spanish capital. Tomorrow, “El Thunder” face FC Barcelona at Palau Sant Jordi. New Thunder hoopster Alex Abrines’ former squad is one of the tops in the EuroLeague and will provide another great challenge to our guys, so tune in at 1:30 p.m. to get a dessert dose of hoops right after lunch.
