You’ve got a friend in me

You don’t have to have the singing voice of Gayla Peavey to make a difference in the lives of OKC’s zoo animals. There are several ways that you can make a hippo-sized impact for mere peanuts.

Consider becoming a ZooFriend. In addition to scoring unlimited free admission to our world-class zoo for a year (and numerous other benefits), you’ll be helping support the Oklahoma City Zoo further its mission to educate, research and provide exceptional care for our animals. Another way to support the OKC Zoo is through animal “adoption.” You can be the proud parent of any animal in the kingdom from sea lions to giraffes and elephants to snow leopards.  But the best part – when you adopt an animal at the OKC Zoo, you get all of the fun with none of the responsibilities. Don’t worry about the stinky fish or creepy crawlies that your animal thrives on; just make sure you visit often to check on your new-found friend.
