Whether you want to get in shape or meet new people, Oklahoma City has both competitive and recreational cycling clubs and events across the metro in which you can participate – no matter your experience level. Each of these cycling organizations welcome novices and also provide events throughout the year.
For those more interested in spectating than riding, be sure to check out the Wheeler Criterium, Oklahoma City’s cycling festival. This is a weekly event that takes place every Tuesday, from March 11 until Sept. 9, at the Downtown OKC Airpark. The Wheeler Criterium provides an opportunity for families and friends to engage in what this city has to offer, especially during the summer months. Food trucks only add to the atmosphere for a nice evening out in OKC!
