Oklahoma City has plenty to offer for architecture buffs, in both historic and modern styles.  On April 12, enjoy the AIA of Central Oklahoma’s annual Architecture Tour, highlighting recent accomplishments in local architecture. www.aiacoc.org/tour

Here are several other destinations worth visiting anytime:

• The recently-constructed Devon Energy Center is the tallest building in the city, serving as the beacon of downtown.
• Nearby, you can check out the restored historic Skirvin Hotel, including a working artist studio on the first floor.
• Also be sure to visit the SkyDance Bridge, which offers pedestrian access across I-40 and is located next to the historic Union Depot.
• To get an overall view of the downtown skyline, don’t miss the Oklahoma City Museum of Art’s weekly “Art After 5” including a rooftop party.
